I had this problem twice. I was told by a service engineer to tip the machine onto it's back and then lift it. I did this ( made bit of a mess !) and the machine worked ok

we have exactly the same problem as you - our Indesit d61d dishwasher is stuck in its cycle. Have you found a solution yet?
