how do i reformat "in fat" my emusic1 player?

my emusic1 started acting funny the other day. it sounded like it was being digitally drowned if that makes sense.

and then it shut down and tried to re-start itself over and over. its stuck in this perpetual loop where it acts like its going to start and then it shuts down.

when i plug it into my pc it says reading and i can add songs no problem

but once i unplug it from my pc and try to turn it opn it goes back to turniong on turning off...i oufnd this same problem in someone elses post hee..

it said to reformat it using "fat" not fat32. so how do i reformnat it? im relatively new to cpmuters so please bare with my noobiness....thanks

you can format a digital mp3 player manually from the ms windows explorer, go to my pc, right click on the unit, select format, and go to system format it will say fat 32, you can change it to fat, and then click format. Also there's an application called mp4 player it has a utility capable of format many kinds of mp3 mp4 players.
