what is the correct water pressure required to run the boiler?

when I turn the water on to the boiler It goes right up to 4bar and then runs out the back, I have not turned on the power yet as I havent been able to get a stable water pressure.

Suggest you fit a pressure regulator to the cold supply to the boiler to hold the pressure at about 2 bar.
