How can I fix my Bosch WFF 1401 which pumps water away but will not spin?

It appears to start any program that is chosen but then stops when it comes to the part where the drum is supposed to turn.

it is more than likely that it will need a set of motor carbon brushes. these are very common are fairly inexpensive i have pairs of these if you wish to purchase them
