no it won't support High definition...

You can tell if a TV is High Definition, because it will be in the wide screen format firstly. High Definition, as described, is the name for the shape (1920pixels horizontally X1080pixels vertically). That shape suites the 1:1.85 wide-screen format. So the fact that this screen is 4:3, it's a dead giveaway it does not accept High definition.

The TV has a component video input, which can be used for high definition but in this case, the TV probably won't produce a picture at all if fed a high definition signal because they operate at a different scan rate as well.
