the digibox used to lockout occasionally and if i left the power off for a while it would reboot itself.i had a power failure while the box was operating,since then it won,t load up.the red light shows but the box will not function,is there anyway of fixing this?

I had the same problem with my box, ( same model ) the standby light was on and nothing else, I checked the power stages of the receiver for dry joints, i went over the whole of the power side with a solder iron, it took about 20 mins, try to use a 15watt iron, its easy to take the circuit board out. its only 5 screws to take the board out of the case. + the 3 for the cover at the back of the case. just be patient and go over the joints on the under side of the power side. ( the brown PCB)= (printed circuit board).
please note if you are not confident with a soldering iron dont try this. also when working on Electronic equipment remember to unplug it from the mains before you remove any screws,
