Where can i get old setup and recovery disks?

I have a set of setup and recovery disks which do not work together. When i run the floppy it refers to win 95, but the CD runs win 98. I have the certificate for win95 and therefore can't get past the installation process where you are asked to provide the product code. I have tried running the floppy then installing win95 from the win95 cd but i get dos error messages say 3 different device files are missing and this stops win from loaded. Can i download a new recovery cd from somwhere? the pc is an Advent 8510 bought 1997.
I would appreciate any help thanks

Tim, because you have a licence for the Windows product you have I think that you could legitimately download a copy of windows. There are plenty of illegal sources for programs on the net. These are illegal because you must have a licence for software that you use. You do have a licence. You are just sourcing a replacement copy of the product.

Note: it would be illegal to have more windows copies than you have licences, so once you've sorted out your machine, destroy your original Floppies/CDs. Keep just one copy of the windows Floppies/CDs.
