My daughter' s Sandisk, Sansa M250 just stopped turning on, the battery is fresh, I have called Sandisk customer service, they tried to re-set the machine or at least have my computer recognize it again, but to no avail. Can anyone help, or is this just ready for the trash heap?

hold the power button for 15 seconds or more. dont leave it on a computer that is asleep or turned off next time.
