How can I fix my lxr9245e whirlpool washing machine?

I have a lxr9245e whirlpool washer that quit agitating/ spinning. When I turned it off it wouldn't turn back on. I tilted the washer & found a black rubber bearing looking piece on the floor underneath the washer. What parts are needed & how can I fix it???
