how can i fix me indesit WD10?

I have a washer/dryer that will keep on filling cold water when the drier timer is on. As long as the drier timer/switch remains off, the machine behaves normally. Does someone out there know what could be wrong

No it's not. You actually see the water level rising in the drum (through the door glass)... and you can hear the sound of the water going in...and it keeps rising till you turn the dryer switch to the off position...at which time the water immediately 'shuts off'

some water is used for the condensor part of the drying cylce in all washer dryers and it is quite normal is this what you are refering to
