Had the same problem with my samsung. An engineer came out and fixed it for £75.he had to fill the fridge up with gas and switch it off for 24-36 hours.Everything is working great.

Hi Bernard, the bottom panel in the freezer at the back with 6 screws comes off.You probably have a large build up of ice which you can remove with a hairdryer. This solves the problem for about 10 days but is also only a temporary fix.The guy who came out to see me [who charged £120 !!] said that there is no thermal fuse on this model.Regards ,Russell Stuart.

to Airkool,
what is a thermal fuse and where do I find it ? Also the back of the inside of the Samsung fridge freezer are 2 large panels held on by 7 screws. Is it OK to remove this panel or is it thermostatically
sealed ?

Hi Russell, We have exactly the same problem with our 3 year old Samsung side by side fridge freezer. We contacted Samsung who told us to turn it off for 24 hours with the doors open. This we did, but it worked OK for about 3 weeks, then same problem. Samsung didn't want to know as it was over 2 yrs old. We still have the problem. I'm trying to sort it out today. If I have any luck, I'll let you know.
