dear Sharron,
well the problem as most things with these man made devices could be anumber of things but to narrow it down these are a few things it could be and a few things that u can do yourself to check or your hubby , partner :)
due to many brands im not familar with this brand or make but i do carry out repairs for over 5 years in australia specialising in fisher & pykal repairs.
first the water pump is the first thing to check on all machines with this fault.
drain your machine by lowering ur waste pipe into a bucket lower than the waher bowl.
if nothing comes out and you do have a considerable amount of water in the bowl then you could say you have a obstruction somewhere between the lower section of the bowl waste outlet and the waste water pipe
to check if there is a blockage and sometimes this can also unblock blockages.
Fill machine and switch off after fill at powerpoint, you can give a good blow on the end of the waste pipe ( clean before u do this else you might get soapy lips, and blow like your getting tested for random breath test). when you blow hard enough you should see a considerable amount of bubbles comming up out of the bowl. if you dont u may have a blockage
to check for blockage:
check your waste pipe remove from machine and check.
next check your pump for inter blockages around the blades of the pump by removing the end cap on most pumps if you dont have one then disregard
if that all fails then it may be a faulty water pump or no voltage (power) being supplied to your pump this is either controlled by an analogue timer (dial type timer) or FET driven (Transistor) controlled by mini computer
can you let me know if your machine has a dial timer or is controlled by a touch pad etc.
good luck!
