why does my printer read"card access error"when i put a xd fujifilm card in it,i have tried a 1gb and a 2gb card and it says the same both times, the printer is a hp photosmart7762.

According to hp website, it lists supported memory cards, XD is included. they say make sure metal contacts face down & arrows are pointing toward the printer.
It gives a NB. if xd cardis 512MB or greater you'll need to use a cf adaptor.
