how can i fix my printer?

how can i fix my epson r300 photo stylus printer. it tells me, on the screen, that it needs servicing and refuses to do anything.

life. how do i get my printer working again.

Hi Sam,
your printer is given a certain amount of units that it counts down as you use it.When it reaches a certain amount of units the printer program will tell it that it needs a service.This means you need to change the ink pads that soak up the excess ink everytime your printer does a head clean.
You can download a program to reset it yourself called ssc service utility.(google it)
This will allow you to reset the counter amoungst other things.
It may be advisable to get it done by a place that services Epson printers if you feel that the inkpads are to full...
