Hi, I'm just about to embark on buying an IVECO, can anyone tell me honestly what they are like? Prices for Servicing and getting hold of parts ?

Thanks in Advance

Ive had an iveco 35 10 for four years twin wheel base I bought it to build a a place in spain. these vans have to have a class 7 mot which is very strict mine failed on brakes front and back
I had trouble finding garages that would look at ivecos other than iveco themselves whose hourly rate is wallet draining.I ended doing the brakes myself but this does include specialist
sockets ,(VERY BIG VERY EXPENSIVE) and the parts are expensive .Then I had a water leak on the engine cooling again no one was intrested in doing this job another job I tackled myself so the down side is that they can be expensive to repair
The plus side is that I would not hesitate to drive to spain loaded with 2 ton and be quiet sure it would not miss a beat ,the van never lever let me down it was just the general wear and tear that could have cost alot of money ,my van is now 9 years old and I know that Im looking at an expensive mot which is due in jan. What you have got to remember is that unlike transits ,traffics etc the big ivecos are full on commercial vehicles with associated costs Hope this is of use to you freddie
