how can i fix my washing machine?(hotpoint first edition 1000)?

there is no power going to the machine,i have checked the fuse and also the fuse box in house but still wont work.can you help please?

first port of call would be the on off switch they tend to go open on the neutral side if thats ok then odds on it being the door lock an easy inexpensive repair
