How can I fix the water inlet valve of a 35ci Glow worm bolier?

The boiler is 2 years old but the pressure has dropped to 0.5 bar and has shut down. Normally I have been able to open the valve (blue knurled knob) to allow water in. Now I can open the valve and no water flows in. The valve feels as if it is opening but nothing appears to put the pressure up.

Is it possible for a plastic inlet valve to silt up ? How do I change it if necesssary? Could there be an electrical valve failure further on in the system?

I had this after I tighten the knob too much. I fixed it by turning the water off and reducing the pressure. The value is only held in by some metal clips remember where they go, take them out and a cloth is handy not to be soaked. you can the take the valve apart. I had the small plastic stopper stuck. Reassemble put into boiler and reclip. turn water on and it should work. It also stopped once because the mains inlet pressure was too high. try turning the cold water tap before filling your system.
