not sure hank wether or not ur machine is direct drive or belt driven but check belt tension for slippage or contamination to the belt like oil etc.
if it uses a brake solinoid ( a device to release the brake to spin bowl on spin cycle) this is found underneath the washer looks like a small transformer with a "T" comming out, these solinoids either get stuck from corrosion or water leakage / or go open circuit which only spins the agatitor and not the bowl on spin cycle causing wet and soapy clothes, sometime the force of the clothes being thrown against the side of the bowl will try to spin it still but may go out of balance as a result
