Hotpoint washer dryer wd51 - drum moving, banging?

The drum moves from side to side, even at slow spins, and it makes banging noise at a certain point during each spin, much worse as it spins faster. I opened it up and removed two bra wires, but still having the problem

The condenser unit has probably come away from drum, very common, hell to fix, part replacent cost 11-10-06 £54.24p.
It's attached by 2 screws on the heater element box, one bolt right hand side half way down unit and 3 screws at the bottom with 7mm nut heads. These are very difficult to access.
The problem arises because the unit is made from nylon or polypropelyne and is attached to steel at all points.
Part no is 1601754-WD51
