my panasonic DMR-E95H Self check?

I cant get it to go past self check cant watch or push any buttons on it to make it stop?

look on ebay for sanken strg6353 much cheaper,
repaired mine in less than half an hour, running perfect now.

Have a panasonic e85 and the same problem found a chap in steveage on ebay doing a repair for £30 but you have to deliver and pick-up. I have mine in for repair at moment so do not know how much success it will be. You can find him in the DVD recorder section

the part number you need for the e95 is a sanken str-g6353 chip from www.nikkoe.com approx £12 inc. i had the same problem and fitted this part and it works fine now.very fiddly to fit, need soldering iron.

This part should be replaced: STRG6353.
A defect STRG6353 is the cause of your problem.
Your dvd/hdrecorder must be repaired.

They ALL do it eventually - its a useless PSU design. This is for the e85 - very similar to the e95.

HI there i had a similar problem because only dvd-r disc's had been used and it had lost its memory i put a dvd ram disc in and it went through the self check, read ,power off for about 1 hour and then it reset itself, seems to be ok now
