Range master 110 gas cooker timer won't allow cooker to light ovens. Ingnition light constantly flashing and timer won't reset.

I've read different replies on diferent sites & none have worked. I decided as the gas wasn't coming out to turn an oven on (not as such) & fiddle with button combinations - I suddenly heard the ignition clicking away & there was a flame! I think I held the 2 leftmost buttons in (didn't work with just those 2 alone - went to 00.00 for a couple of seconds & back to flashing with auto atthe side too) then i think it was the plus or minus time setting ones - it has to have a time set on it to release the oven function.

Chuffed to bits!

press and hold a combination of minute timer and cook period or stop reset to set time
