don't forget that not all email attachments from people you don't know are safe. the likely hood is that you have opened viruses etc .
the garbage you are looking at could very well be code that the virus is built of

There should be a message at the top saying that the provider has blocked certain pictures and messages to protect yourself from virus'
If you click on this to allow pop ups etc it should let you see these clearly
