Debra here. Hopefully sorted ours out and this is how I did it. Have sent a copy to Dad.
Insert CD that you want to copy.
Open Windows Media Player
Select Rip
Tick the songs you want to copy
Click on rip music and wait for the tracks to be copied onto your PC (starts off with “ripping” then goes to “ripped to library”). This should copy to “my music” file on PC (found on our pc by clicking start button at bottom and is with my computer, my documents etc)
Turn on mp3 player
Plug USB cable into player and into pc
Go to “my music”file on PC found as above
Click on music file eg various artists, Frank Sinatra that you want to copy. Should bring up thesongs that you copied from that CD.
Right mouse click on individual song
Select Send to F drive
Before removing MP3 player you must safely remove the player hardware using the icon on the bottom tray
