BT Studio 4500 cordless telephone 2nd phone has flashing light which won't turn off! How can I fix this please?

How do I slide the batterie cover off a bt cordless phone 2000

One of my twin handsets BT 4600 does not ring. It works in every other way. I can make calls from it etc. but it just does not ring with incoming calls. Any help would be much appreciated

I have a BT Studio 5500 Plus everything seems to be working fine however when I make a call there is no dial tone, it does ring in, but you cannot hear anyone. Any help would be appreciated.
