Fix Fault Techwood

You can power it up and everthing look's to work but there's no sound

I have a Techwood Pro Studio stereo, when I turn the stereo on no sounds from the speakers at all.My speakers wires are connected the right way. Can someone please help me???

When I cut it on, it flashes the word "protect." How do I fix this?
