Fix Fault Starlogic

My player shows the films very clearly in a very faint colour and I cannot rectify it. Any suggestions....I have checked the scart lead.

Can someone please tell me if the Starlogic 868V50 DVD player is a multi region player? Would it play Region 4 DVD's? Many thanks Lynds
