proaction shreder only runs in reverse

my shredder works in reverse but not in auto no paper in it not jammed Proaction 10 sht max model

My ProAction 005CC 8 sheet cross shredder won't accept paper for shredding. The motor works in reverse. What can be the reason for not accepting paper automatically?
