The hot water works ok when the thermostat is turned up the boiler starts up until the waters is hot But when turnig on the heating there is nothing i have tested the thermostat which test open and close ok the timer led comes on but the heating doesnt.

check the cental heating zone valve or 3 port valve,it's probally the syncron motor burnt out, you can change just the motor on most valves
