download advanced windowcare v2 personal.
iobit smartdefrag beta 4.01
speeditup free.
spybot search &destroy. download from majorgeeks.
i had the same problem, computer runs like new now.
keep your system clean and virus free.
clean your system before you shut down the computer. let me know if this helped.

You will need to isolate the fault either software or hardware fault.
First get a spare hard drive and install Windows, if that works ok then you know hardware is ok.
If software fault, only way to clean up your Windows, defrag, disk cleanup, tuneup, Windows Registry cleanup, if all doesnt work, only way to reinstall Windows
