the bearing is part of the rear drum assy , initially the whole drum was a replacement part on these m/c's , in early days of production we were carrying 2 complete drums to fit on our vans !!lately hotpoint have been replacing the bearing by removing drum complete , splitting drum , removing inner drum , knocking out bearings , fitting new (be warned these machines had a history of early bearing failure and bearings may not come out in one piece , if not you are in the position of requiring a new rear half ) refitting drum halves (with new seal fitted to tub halves) and refitting , good luck !!, have you thought of a new m/c possibly ( go for a bosch)
