Schools block the sites like Myspace, Bebo, Piczo etc from your accessability as they do not feel they are suitable. Personallly i disagree as they are helpfull for communication and also sites such as Piczo help with simple things like website design as well. However you can in some cases get round the block using Proxys (so is the case with our school block) but your accessed sites are logged and if you go where you shouldnt or use proxys you run the risk of getting in trouble and banned.
