How can I set my anniversary clock?

My clock runs too fast. Which way do I rotate the wheel to slow it down? My clock is a 1950's Kundo.

ROTATE THE TIMING WHEEL CLOCKWISE TO SLOW DOWN THE CLOCK. IF IT IS ADJUSTED ALL THE WAY CLOCKWISE, YOU PROBABLY HAVE A SUSPENSION SPRING THAT IS TOO THICK.

Clockwise looking down from the top. It has a "A" and "R" which means to advance and retard. Also has arrows showing the direction to turn.
