After a few months, my coffee maker gets a nasty mildue smell and mildue like stain in the water tank. What can I use to safely clean and remove the black spots and smell?

Find a Home Brew shop that sells (they all do ) Combined Sterilizer And Cleaner,usually a tub full of powder follow instructions,soak or wash the parts in it.Clean your cups and other stuff as well don't bin the first lot,pour it in to dirty stained pots whatever.
