I have the same tree with a transformer all works fine, but I need many bulbs for this tree. If you wont to sell the tree or just the bulbs I would be interested in buying them from you.

std. 24v trans. should work just fine. check ratings plate on trans. before u buy. printed on box or rating plate should match or exceed your wattage. must b 24v. trans. ... min. 50 hertz, very important. ....120 volt input, for std. house wiring. dont freak at all the different kind of trans. just match ur ratings w/new.
