pressure gauge increases to high enough level as to cause dis charge to drip ,boiler set at 1 bar,but after run loses water and has to be re filled

Same thing happening to me. Have been reading up and likely one of the following:-
Expansion vessel needs recharged to 0.5psi. Use normal car/bicycle pump
OR
internal membrane in expansion vessel has failed and will need replaced.

If latter when valve on vesseol is pressed there is a small spray of water
