door not meeting frame?

the wooden door to the study seems to moved at the bottom it will not sit flush to the frame any ideas

It sounds like your door has warped, if it is sticking out at the bottom. Not a lot you can do about this as offsetting the hinge to compensate this would make the door proud at the top. This is why we hang a door the same day as we buy them - they warp quite badly when brought into a different temperature.
