How to use tv as a pc monitor/what cable is required?

I want to use an lcd tv as a pc monitor and need to know what cable to use?

Is Your Tv (One Of these New Pc Monitor Compatible one's)

& What Output's Are On Your Grapthic's Card

AS You may need a new graphic's Card With (s-video or Yellow Av Out) Unless your tv has A Blue Monitor Connetor

Your Need A Grapthic's Card prefwith s-video,Av out port
Your Tv need's Yellow Av in (found Next to a white & red)
Or An S-Video Port (Vary on the grapthics card out put

Ir depends on what inputs your TV has and what outputs your PC has.

For example,if the TV has a VGA style socket then you need a VGA style cable. If the TV can accept Composite Video and your PC can output it then you need a Phono (RCA) cable.

If the TV or PC doesn't support VGA or the PC doesn't have Composite Video then you can't just plug it in - you need a converter of some description.
