H98 fault on panasonic inverter 1200w high power microwave?

how do i fix the H98 fault on my panasonic inverter 1200w high power microwave ?????? I have tryed to unplug it but nothing seems to work . what can i do ?

Hi. My Panasonic combination microwave oven recently started cutting out after 25-30 seconds, sometimes displaying the H98 error code. Purely by chance, I turned the oven through 180 degrees and discovered that the fan inlet grill at the rear was almost completely blocked-off by a sort of cobweb of greasy dust and fluff, which must have caused a significant reduction in cooling air over the magnetron, inverter and other electronic components. After a thorough clean with a dry brush, the oven was restored to normal. The air intake grill is out of sight, out of mind!

Usually indicates a problem with the magnetron or the High Voltage power supply (Inverter).
Because of the amount of voltage involved and the complexity & expense of the parts involved, the repair is best left to an experienced technican. Because the magnetron has a three to five year warranty (check your owner's manual) it is usually best to use a Panasonic Authorized service center who can supply the magnetron under warranty if they determine it is the culprit.
