toothbrush won't turn off?

Our Braun electric toothbrush is not battery. It sits on a plug- in stand. It will not stop running unless it is in the stand. It is less than a year old?? Type:4728

when i am brushing my teeth my tooth brush used to shut off after 2 minutes now it wont shut off at all i have to turn it off

My philips sonicare does the same thing. It comes on now and then on the charger. I think I will throw it away.

Same problem I cut off the rubber covering and still could not get it to shut off. I think I bought mine a couple of years ago.
