How can I fix my Casio Ti-STN TV-970 Mini TV?

I have lost picture on the mini tv but sound and channel tuning still works - just no picture since my wife used a switchable power adaptor on the wrong voltage.
Can the backlight for the tv screen be replaced or is it likely the actual tv screen has blown?
