What is wrong with my Philips 32DW9625/05R TV?

My Philips TV, model 32DW9625/05R, has a white line 5mm wide across the middle of the screen from side to side. Above the line the screen is blank, below the line you can see the bottom half of the programme. Can anyone advise.

As of 2 days ago I have/had _exactly_ the same problem with the same tv 32dw9625/05r.
I found (I don't recommend this if you don't know what you're doing) it's a dry joint or bad connection on a 3 wire lead that runs from the circuit board at the top above the tube to the middle of the back of the 'base' circuit board.
I left it off to discharge a while and diceconnected and reconnected this and it's been fine since (2 days).
However I haven't replaced the tv cover yet so it may be heat related as well. But I know touching the lower end of that connector with a screwdriver fixed it temporarily (for a minute or so) and reconnecting looks like it's helped...
Report back if you have any luck :) - but be careful - huge voltages in the backs of tvs(!!).
