Problem with my Baxi Bermuda 401?

System was working great, then I serviced the hot water tank in the airing cupboard and replaced the thermostat on it and cleaned it out, put everything back together and it worked find water got hot it was fantastic. The next day the wife was vacuuming around the Baxi Bermuda 401 boiler she said the pilot is not on, now the pilot will not stay on neither will the boiler ignite. I have changed the thermocouple pilot will still not stay lit when grey switch released. I have cleaned the jets blown through the gas supply pipe to the pilot light, is clear. But pilot still going out when button released. Any suggestions please, can't afford a plumber at moment as I'm off work due to an accident.

Hi, Im not a gas fitter in anyway but I am having the same problem the now and iv been told it the valve thats gone and thats not keeping the pilot light on. I know this ad was posted a long time ago so not sure if you have fixed the problem now. But thought I would let you know.

try the nut that holds the thermocouple in to thegas valve, if this isnt tight then the gas valve wount work, also is the pilot flame lapping around the end of the thermocouple? then if its not that then you will need a new gas valve!!!
