I had the same problem with mine after about 6 months after I bought it. I looked for places to fix it and found none. And to get it fixed by cyberhome cost 100+ dollars so I took it apart and found out that the problem was that the laser wasn't moving back and forth like it should. So I bent the plastic tab down onto the spiral gear, put it back together, and amazingly it worked. If you have any questions about how to fix it e-mail me at Baconlbb@aol.com
