I have put a DVD in my Daewoo DVD/VCR model DFL7IDIPUA but now the unit wont respond to front panel switches or remote control when I try to eject, open/close or switch on or off. The display sometimes shows 'WAIT' but nothing further happens. Can this be fixed?

Unplug from the mains for a few moments and try again

There may also be a manual disc eject facility. Check the manual.
