How do I get my DVd player on my Magnavox MWC24T5 triple combo to open. I?

My Magnavox triple combo 24 inch TV will not allow the DVD player to open. It worked and now it doesn't. It won't even open andd then shuts the whole set off after a few seconds. The TV and VCR work perfectly.

I am having the same problem. Currently there is a netflix movie stuck in the DVD part of my triple combo TV. Did you ever get it to open?
