I have a low level toilet and the plastic washer around the inlet pipe from tank is leaking when flushing. I was advised to pull back the washer and seal it with plumbers mate. Which I durely did and left for a few hours/overnight to harden.
That was several weeks ago, the plumbers mate is still soft and it still leaks. Help what do I do now?

Try to change and make sure to get the right washer and i hope that can solve the problem. Plumber mate will not work on that kind of place.

clean the plumbers of the threads and put some ptfe tape round the thraeds that shud sort it

plumbers mate does not set hard.
leave the bodges and buy a new seal and it won't leak again. only cost pennys..

Clean it all off (plumbers mate)and re do with waterproof Silicone Sealant and leave that to go off.
