I'hv a digital camera u700, Olympus.When i press the power button in shooting mode, the lens comes out irregularly, sometimes it stops from being coming out, in the LCD screen some blurred image appears, then the lens retracted and a message appears in the LCD screen

After hold it, No changes just its lens stuck open. a red light blink after some time. still give an error. no operated mode enable.

Caused by sand or dirt in lens cover machanism. Simple fix is to turn on camera while holding it with the lens pointing UP! Sonds simple but it works!
