Ferroli Boiler - Modena 80E (G.C. No. 47-267-05?

My Ferroli boiler is leaking from the overflow.
I have had a new PRV and had it descaled but it is still
leaking. The central heating pressure gauge is high at 3.
What could be the reason?

Hi Jo

It is caused by either

1. Filling loop left on or not shutting off properly.

2. A perforated heat exchanger causing mains cold water to enter the central heating.

3. Expansion vessel in boiler needs recharging or needs replacing.
