I recently changed the lcd in my TV after it was smashed, pluged in the new LCD and switched it on, i get good sound still but no picture, just hundreds of vertical lines all different colours all over the screen.

i have the same problem. lots of different coulered lines. if i switch the tv off then back on i will get normal pic for a while. sad thing is usually easyier to get a new tv, tech nowadays is crap. easy to but new. this problem only happenes to me in high definition. while playing my ps3. i will get coloured lines no pic just coloured lines. sometimes i get noise too, the colours can change sometimes. but are solid lines.
