How can I make my Navman iCN510 work again?

My SatNav keeps giving me instructions non-stop as if I have started my journey. The icon which represents my car keeps moving even when the car is stopped. It only stops if it has "reached" the destination. How can I fix this abnormal condition of my SatNav?

Sounds as though you have selected 'Demo Mode'. Go into menu and check you have not selected the demonstration. It will stay on this until you uncheck it. It thinks you want a run through of the journey prior to setting off.
